

A temple in Kamakura. It takes about 60 minutes to get there by train from Tokyo Station but offers a traditional setting with a complex of 18 temples built almost a thousand years ago and surrounded by beautiful gardens.
A zazen experience is offered every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month (Sermon in Japanese: 9AM - 10AM, but the zazen practice is silent so from 10AM - 11AM anyone can participate and get the full benefit) & every Saturday (Beginners: 1:20PM - 2:20PM; People who have been once: 2:40PM - 3:40PM)
How to get there by train:
Take the Yokusuka Line between Kamakura and Tokyo to the Kita-Kamakura station. The train stops directly in front of the temple. You can also walk from Kamakura station to Kita-Kamakura.
